Synthesis of styrene-divinylbenzene sorbent matrix for ion chromatography

Abstract

Monodispersed styrene-divinylbenzene particles with crosslinking degree 50% were synthesized. Method is based on stages of polymerization, seed particles activation by absorption of 2-10 times styrene excess, adding of crosslinking agent and crosslinking polymerization. Synthesized matrix is optimal for further modifying with anion and cation exchanges producing.
