Synthesis of 2-butyl-deca-4,9-dienoic and 2-butyl-4,9-dimethyl-deca-4,9-dienoic acids – structural analogues of cygerolum

Abstract

New compounds, 2-butyl-deca-4,9-dienoic and 2-butyl-4,9-dimethyl-deca-4,9-dienoic acids which are structural analogues of 2-cyclohexylgeranylacetic acid - an active component of skin restoration ointment “cigerol” are synthesized. One-pot method of long chain hydrocarbons formation – reaction of 1,3-dienes telomerization with the nucleophiles, catalyzed by palladium complexes was used for formation of hydrocarbon chain C10. Heterogeneous palladium-zeolite catalyst was used in isoprene telomerization with piperidine.
