Cement-containing catalysts of the ozone
decomposition based on iron oxides
Abstract
Cement-containing
catalysts of ozone decomposition based on iron oxides obtained by ozonizing the
iron-containing aqueous solution were synthesized. Active component of
catalysts was investigated by XRD and Mxssbauer
spectroscopy. Oxide a-Fe2O3
was found to present as superfine nanoparticles. The catalysts exhibited high
activity in reaction of ozone decomposition similar to that of GTT- type
catalysts.
