Production of Radionuclides for Nuclear Therapy and Ecological Studies

Abstract

This work is devoted to production of radionuclides for nuclear medicine and radiotracers for environmental research. The methods of production of radionuclides with high LET (67Ga, 77Br, 111In, 211At) that are promising for radioimmunotherapy are proposed. Techniques of production of short-lived analogues of highly radiotoxic long-lived fission products (Tc, Se, Sr) are developed. The techniques are based on solvent extraction and chromatographic separation from cyclotron target irradiated by alpha particles and deuteron beams.
