New Laves phase in the ternary system Nb–Cr–Re

Abstract

New ternary Laves phase Nb(Cr,Re)2 with the hexagonal structure (structural type MgZn2) in the system Nb–Cr–Re had been determined. The phase contains 6–33% at. Re.
