Synthesis of para-divinylbenzene derivatives by Catalytic olefination reaction

Abstract

Catalytic olefination reaction of hydrazone of terephthalic aldehyde by different polyhalogenalkanes was investigated. It was shown, that the reaction led to a wide range of para-divinylbenzene derivatives, bearing various functional groups.
