Separation of nitrogen-contaning compounds on silica capillaries modified with citrate- stabilized gold nanoparticles, 6,10-ionene, n-(3-sulfo-3 carboxy)propionilechitosan and dextran sulphate

Abstract

Gold nanoparticles are applied in different fields of science for a last 10 years, e.g. physicochemical separation methods. Two fused-silica capillaries for capillary electrophoresis (CE) modified layer-by-layer with citrate- stabilized gold nanoparticles, 6,10-ionene, N-(3-sulfo-3-carboxy)propionylchitosan (SCPH) and dextran sulfate (DC) are prepared and investigated. It is found out that separation of tetrahydrosoline, pindolol, terbutalin, nadolol, hydroxyzine is most effective and fast in case of modifying with gold nanoparticles and polysaccharide in comparison with case of polysaccharide only. The most successful system for CE with utilization of dextran sulfate as polysaccharide is received. The enantiomers of tetrahydrozoline are separated on capillary modified with gold nanoparticles, 6,10-ionene and dextran sulfate.
Key words: capillary electrophoresis, dextran sulfate, N-(3-sulfo-3-carboxy)propionylchitosan, β-blockers.
