Interaction of unsaturated compounds with the thiobisamine-SOHal2 system

Abstract

Reactions of unsaturated compounds with the thiobisamine-SOHal2 (Hal = Cl, Br) system were proposed as a convenient route to di(β-haloalkyl)sulfides. With alkenes, dienes and alkynes as examples, the regio- and stereoselectivity of the reactions were studied.
