Contribution of chemical faculty of MSU to
the Great Victory
Abstract
In paper an attempt to analyse activity of
chemical faculty of Lomonosov Moscow State University in days of the Great
Patriotic War is made. The author writes about some students and employees of
chemical faculty who left on the front. Work of the Moscow part of faculty, and
also evacuation of other its part to Ashgabat, and then – Sverdlovsk in
1941–1943 is considered. Difficulties of adjustment on new places of
educational work with students, scientific researches of the faculty are shown.
Examples of dedicated work of employees of a number of chairs of chemical
faculty in the years of war are given.
