Abstract. (La,Pr)0.7(Ca,Sr)0.3MnO3 thin films were prepared by aerosol MOCVD on the different single crystalline substrates (LaAlO3, SrTiO3, MgO and ZrO2(Y2O3)). Spectral dependence of the transversal Kerr effect (TKE) was similar for all compositions in the energy range 1.4-3.5 eV. The highest TKE was observed for (La0.5Pr0.5)0.7Sr0.3MnO3 - 33*10-3 at hw=3.05 eV. The remarkable feature of (La0.5Pr0.5)0.7Ca0.3MnO3 films is the temperature hysteresis of TKE. The appearance of the hysteresis, Curie temperature and maximum TKE was found to change significantly with the variation of the substrate material. The results are compared with the data of the electrical measurements. The highest negative magnetoresistance MR was measured for (La0.5Pr0.5)0.7Ca0.3MnO3 on LaAlO3: MR(70K, 3T)=106; MR(10K, 1T)>108.
