Potential Anticanceractiviti. I. Preparative Synthesis of N-Substituted
Derivatives of Phenylisoserine and their Reaction with Adamantanol
Abstract
The present work concerns the synthesis of
N-substituted derivatives of phenylisoserine, which are known to be the
important groups for the biological activity of some taxane preparations. The
synthesis of adamantyl ester of N-benzoylphenylisoserine is elaborated as a
model reaction for the preparation of compounds with potential anticancer
activity.
