OCCUPATION: Professor. Head of the Laboratory of low temperature chemistry since 1975. Graduated from the Chemistry Department of Moscow State University (1951); Ph.D. (1956); Postdoctoral Fellow 1960-1961 in Keele University, England; Dr.Sci. (1967) in Moscow University; Professor (1968). Lomonosov Prize (1976). Member of the International scientific Council on Organic Reactions in solid state (1988).

SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS: Chemical kinetics. Cryochemistry. Reactivity of metal atoms, clusters and nanosize particles. Matrix isolation, organic reactions in low temperature co-condensates and liquid crystals.
