Microemulsification of Toluene in Aqueous Solutions of Nonionic Surfactant Tween-80 at Different Temperatures

Abstract

Oil in water microemulsions in equilibrium with oil phase excess (Winsor type 1) are created on the base of ternary system toluene – Tween-80 – water. Temperature influence on solubilizing capacity of such systems was studied. Thermodynamic parameters of solubilization and microemulsion formation were analyzed.
