A Correlation between Changes in Gibbs Energy of a Chemical Reaction and Contact Angles of Wetting in the Systems Liquid Metal–Metal Oxide

Abstract

Possibility of correlation between contact angles of liquid metals on metal oxides and Gibbs energy of interface chemical reaction is discussed. Two methods for computation of contact angles are presented. Examples of computations are given.
