Methods for modified nucleotide identification in ribosomal RNA

Abstract

Modified nucleotides are ubiquitous is all functional RNA, such as ribosomal RNA. Identification of modified nucleotides is essential for understanding of RNA functional role in living cells. This review is devoted to methods which are used to reveal modified nucleotides in the ribosomal RNA.
