Influence of ultrasonication on the stability of an aqueous disperse system calcium hydroxyapatite – Tween 80

Abstract

Effects of ultrasonication time and Tween 80 concentration on the stability of calcium hydroxyapatite aqueous suspensions were studied. The optimal conditions under which the system becomes stable were found using methods of capillary zone electrophoresis, dynamic light scattering, and scanning electron microscopy. The possibility of estimating the system stability was shown based on study of particles electrophoretic behavior.
