New tecniques of coal
materials pretreatment for total reflection X-Ray fluorescence analysis
Abstract
The modern methods of
determination of coal materials element composition are considered. The
approaches to solving this problem with Total Reflection X-Ray Fluorescence
(TXRF) method are suggested. The slurry preparation is chosen as a method for
express sample pretreatment. The slurry preparation conditions are determined:
sample mass, surfactant type and concentration, internal standard. The
estimation of slurries stability and practical guidelines for its application
in TXRF are given.
