X-Ray fluorescence determination of mercury
on the polyurethane foam sorbent chemically modified by resorcinol
Abstract
Technique of X-ray fluorescence
determination of mercury in water with preconcentration on the polyurethane
foam sorbent chemically modified by resorcinol is proposed. It is shown that
grazing-incidence excitation of mercury X-ray fluorescence directly in a
sorbent phase allows increasing the sensitivity of determination and linearity
range of calibration dependence of sorption – X-ray fluorescence technique by
one order of magnitude.
