Crucible electrothermal atomizer with channel cells for analysis of powder samples

Abstract

Abstract. A constructive solution of a graphite crucible atomizer with channel cells for direct atomic absorption analysis of powder samples is proposed. The evaporation zone in the crucible is complemented by a graphite block (container) with channel cells for placing and separating the dosed mass of the powder sample. Thus, the conditions of thermal decomposition and evaporation of organomineral samples have been changed, interference has been reduced and the detection limits of elements (Ag, Bi, Cd, Tl) in concentrates and suspensions of natural waters have been reduced.
